The Timera Portal (the “Portal”) is operated by Timera Energy Ltd (Level 12 • 30 Crown Place • London EC2A 4ES • United Kingdom, company no. 06728502) (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for personal data processed through the Portal.

We only collect data needed to run a subscription-based content portal:

We do not collect special-category data, and we do not use cookies or trackers to profile you or serve advertising.

• Providing the service (account, subscriptions, content access) — performance of a contract.
• Sending service emails (invitations, password resets, new-content notifications, access-request handling) — contract / legitimate interests.
• Security and audit logging (recording downloads and administrative actions to protect our content and detect misuse) — legitimate interests.
• Responding to your enquiries — legitimate interests.

The Portal uses only strictly necessary cookies — a small number of session cookies that keep you securely signed in. Because they are essential to a service you actively request, they do not require consent. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

We share personal data only with the service providers that host and operate the Portal — our cloud hosting/database provider and our email-delivery provider — under appropriate data-processing terms. We do not sell your personal data. Where data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

• Account, profile and subscription data: for as long as your account is active, then deleted or anonymised within 90 days of account closure.
• Activity / audit logs: retained for 24 months for security and audit purposes, then deleted.
• Emails: retained by our email provider per their standard log retention.

Under UK/EU GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your data, and to data portability. You can update your name, job title and company in your profile at any time. To exercise other rights, contact portal@timera-energy.com; we respond within one month. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or, if you are based in the EU, your local data protection authority.

Passwords are stored only as secure hashes. Access to content is gated by subscription and, where configured, restricted to approved email domains. Administrative access is restricted and audited.

We may update this policy; material changes will be notified via the Portal or email. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
